A new size and colour of the Hourglass, this 20-minute edition is filled with rose gold-coloured nanoballs. Each Hourglass is handblown from a single piece of borosilicate glass and contains approximately 1,643,000 nanoballs, each of which is electroplated. This colour plating process requires extreme care and can only be completed in small batches. When the Hourglass is inverted, the nanoballs fall and bounce in an unstructured but mesmeric way.
